I did think about it. If Halloway has the black shit in his body now, he obviously passed it on to Shaw. Halloway starts to decompose or whatever, Shaw just gets preggo. Wouldn't her body have absorbed the black shit too like Halloway giving her AIDS or something? I just dont see how other than being preggers, she has no side effects of Halloway and swapping bodily fluids.

There's a placental filter. It's why babies can be born without AIDS from a mother who has AIDS. It's probably also why a baby with genetic abnormalities don't pass those abnormal genetic stem cells to the mother while she's pregnant.
