Theory About Alien Link

I have a theory myself. First time posting but long time viewing this board. Anyway. About the link to Alien and the Alien Queen. There seems to be a reason why the Engineers were scared that has yet been discovered. Most of them were dead from the being infected by their own weapon. We didn’t see any monsters that they were running from. They most likely died out during the 2000 year slumber. But I think the link from Aliens stems from Dr.Shaw. There were no female Engineers for whatever reason. Surely they procreate. But how I see it, things change because of the way she got infected (saving sex) gives the Xeno a way to procreate. IE Become a Queen and find a way to make eggs. Properly something the engineers didn’t want to happen. They controlled the ooze and how the monsters were created. Mixing the DNA of women with the ooze creates something they didn’t want. Also give there weapon a way of creating its own life. That’s properly why the engineer went after Dr.Shaw in the first place. Knowing that if she was to get infected it could be a problem for the universe. Clearly they were trying to make the Warrior Alien, facehugger and control the life cycle. It was written on the walls, but I don’t think they wanted them to be able to control their own life cycle. David giving the ooze to Charlie and spreading through sex changed the way it was supposed to work. Just a though.
