Not The Film I Expected.....but.......

(sadly) i can more than relate to your initial feelings about your first viewing the prologue is an exquisite sequence to behold and experience. awesome. the rest of the film, well, it is what it is, and i did go into it with an open mind after reading more than a few negative assessments of the film from June 1st. but even with a far more open mind, this film just failed to deliver on more than a few points for me with that said, i too plan to see it again (this time in IMAX) because i feel i need to not only see the gorgeous visuals again, but i also want to find out if seeing it a second time could perhaps help me to appreciate this film that i had invested so much of my energies / interest in not saying a second viewing will remedy the profound angst i feel, but i am more than willing to give it another shot.
