I think that the Deacon is digitigrade and designed to be a fast predator as some species of theropod dinosaurs and certainly the tibia bone seems more longer than the femur In fact in Alien 3 and Alien R we have some Digitigrades versions that are much faster and then quite the contrary we have the first classic Xenomorph, a creature plantigrade and IMO much slower

Thing is with acid for blood you wouldn't have many breathing problems, and fatigue as we experience it under the form of chemical trash in our system would be easily evacuated, making the creature extremely fast and perhaps seemingly indefatigable.

@Heustess Yeah, and at the same time I think the Xenomorphs (and perhaps Deacon) are not life forms based on carbon

Do they really have acid for blood or does it become highly corrosive when exposed to the air/atmosphere? (I always preferred the latter explanation myself) Also, where is that 1st picture from? Pretty cool.....

@Shane Brady well, I'm not sure if the "Deacon" has acid blood but the second idea is pretty good ... and certainly the fan art are all in google (and Devian art) and the first image of the Deacon is on the gallery of this site.

Shambhala, love that second image (with tail curled round) but Deacon got no tail. PS: did you do that second image? if so, great work. DEACON GOT NO TAIL!
