This endless row of docking stations is quite intriguing - I'm curious to see what the status of those docks are and if they had outbreaks and deaths there as well or if some have up and running research facilities etc. - but anyways the screenshot below shows the endless row of ship docks that we are all shown at the very beginning of Prometheus - curious why they didn't explore these too and instead focused on the first one in the row.

I like the idea of them exploring couple of the other domes, finding more clues before discovering danger.
The pace of this film was odd to say the least.

MemberOvomorphJan-05-2013 11:15 PMOn a recent viewing of the Prometheus landing on the moon in addition to the domes and roads to the various domes and nearby hills you can see circular paterns in the moons surface that we now know as storage areas for Juggernauts.
To my eyes there seems to be wider that the Last Engineer JUggernaut used to make his trip to Earth. I can;r say for sure but there could be a minimum 4 to possibly 16 per dome! If all were used than this base would be pretty much destroyed. With that many spaceships availible to patrol or at least control the Engineer's worlds it would be quite formidable display of power.
THe use and abuse of this power is what the mvies are about with what we see and presume tio really just a small part of the total pix.
The Angry Last Engineer just shows the symtoms of a power hungry race ..connected to humans..but still pawns in the Universal power play now going on.
When the reasl Gods show themselvesd that the audience will know real power.

MemberOvomorphJan-06-2013 8:17 AMExactly, and of course why did Charlie ask if the first one in the row was "natural" or if somebody had put it there? On the descent he had said "God does not build in straight lines", basically answering his own question. Was the film rushed out the door before these simple spot checks?

MemberOvomorphJan-07-2013 2:39 AMWhat I am wondering is that were there more Engineers in stasis on the other croisant like ships. What if Shaw and David took a ship with more sleeping space jockeys. The first ones they found only one survived but that was only one ship. There honestly could be more but just 'sawing logs', counting sheep, or catching some zeez. :-)
The Anunnaki were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, mighty men of high reno

The dome did not have any straight lines. Holloway was talking about the roads leading to the domes having straight lines, as highlighted in blue on his computer monitor.
The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent

AS Motivated as Shaw was to move on to the previous Engineer's world even she would want to do a bit of exploring of the Dome Site just to see what might be useful. In fact we don't know where David/Shaw found their final Juggernaut. I would suspect that David did more of the choosing but what was his criteria?
Yes .. is the Last Engineer really the Last Engineer at this base? My God look at all of the havoc one Engineer has caused?
Finally I would like to see an overview of all of the Domes at this base. They were aligned for reason and I think there might be something visual from high in the sky that is a sign of this culture. Somewhat like signs on those high plains in South America that can only be seen from high in the air.
Just think if the Weyland logo could only be seen from 5 miles in the air!
It has been suggested there should be a prequel to prometheus dealing with the Engineer storyline. That may not be needed but a clarity to the Engineer's world/expectations and a istory would be helpful.
We can build speculation on speculation but does thaty really help?
It helps to pass the time til the next installment in our story.
