Just received a very interesting email from Weyland...(MUST READ)

Yes there are still going to be releases in September or October, or WHATEVER...........for different countries and languages. Movie companies just put in voice overs and release movies in different countries to bring in extra money, it doesn't mean that just because Alien, Ridley Scott and Prometheus, are super famous in the English speaking countries, doesn't mean other countries could recognize them from a hole in the ground.... But pretty please let's not get in to all that, because it's pointless, really it is and you're killing my buzz with all that talk........ And a re-release with a different twist or extended version, is MY VERY OWN PERSONAL HOPE so let's just leave that part clear lol. Plus I said maybe it could be an ANNOUNCEMENT which is the key word, they could ANNOUNCE a re-release scheduled for 30 years from now (6/12/ Wheneverthefuck.) if they wanted. Geez let's not all get to happy about any of this <--SARCASTIC! Can we at least all agree that it won't be an announcement for a Blu-ray/DVD release, or have I not given enough proof to convince you of that yet? and YES, I have anger issues. But I don't judge any of you guys by your posts. Or do I? <--Plot hole?

@Bo Cherry: Yeah that sounds really cool! I also got that e-mail about 3 hrs ago but since I'm in the UK I don't seem to be able to call that number. Can you try to record that message and post it? Usually, phones are capable of doing that. That would be cool, I'm so bloody curious to hear that!

Very interesting indeed... just played the recording over my stereo... sounds like the language David spoke to the last Engineer, but what do I know? -In addition, there is still a classified section in the Weyland directory under Project Prometheus, I would assume it is related to SDCC and 10.11.12 I have been aware of the DVD/Blu Ray release date (10.9.12.) since before Prometheus hit theaters. I have never suspected 10.11.12 of having any correlation with 10.9.12. (its two days after, in my mind that rules out promotion for the home release) which has had me looking forward to that date more than June 8th haha...

waah, the recording was weird... it kind of sounded like someone said "what did he say?" but it could have just been creepy engineer-speak. maybe they will mention it at comic-con?

Haha, no prob. But I hate to break it to you, and as much as I'd love to see a quick follow-up/sequel, like we all do, there are still release dates for 'Prometheus' in mid October... unlikely it will happen this fast. Maybe a very brief trailer or hint for 'Paradise' of some sort.

I'm sorry but, so far approximately 90% of the time it feels like I'm pulling teeth around here just to get my point across, and people just flip all my words upside down as if I'm not being crystal clear. OR, people just skim through every post and they only make comments about the pretty looking sentences. I can't figure it out yet!

Ok, this is verrrry interesting. Let's look at the example of the last Harry Potter movie, and the 'part one, part two' phenomenon. Yes it was heavily promoted as such, but the hype around Prometheus is cryptic as Hell, so it stands to readon that the drama television style cliffhanger we saw suggests not only are we getting a sequel, but maybe we are getting it while the taste of the first one is still in our mouths. Sir Ridley hinted at a two-parter (not an obvious two years later sequel) from the script stage already, possibly due to the size of the content. The last two Matrix films were also back to back if i recall correctly. So, sequel or same year two-parter. My money is on the latter...

No @ Bioscope, you're supposed to be like everybody else and not make sense of this, and just be a Debbie Downer. Nope, no way in hell could they release a sequel, not RIGHT AWAY!! Unlikely, I know. However I list these these speculative reasons as to why it'd work - December would be a six month span from the release of Prometheus (Matrix Reloaded/Matrix Revolution anyone?) _ What better month to release a movie (tentatively titled Paradise) that has us "meet our maker"? Would love to hear your opinions...

@deftones1986 and BloodBrother: I actually posted the same thing a while ago as well. So I'm not too unfamiliar with that idea. But when being realistic, it's more wishful thinking, purely out of slight disappointment about the film, than anything else. Do you REALLY think it's possible to pull a 'two for one' within that budget and timeframe? Please, guys! BTW, the OP is pretty much hijacked by now... So, can someone please record and post that message?? Then we can start solving that mystery! I'd do it but cannot call that number from the UK.

Thank you deftones. I can't think of anything else that would more thematic or daring. I mean This is Ridley we're talking about, right? It would also underline all the religous/myth/literary elements that Prometheus laid down.

Yeah but @HAL 9000 you most likely posted it before we had this new info that @Bo Cherry made a post about. And this new info is hinting very much so at something EXTREMELY INTERESTING. And we can rule out: Blu-ray release. CHECK Action Figures. CHECK Please don't say "yeah but what if its the action figure for the ship or a replica of LV-223 or something?" Come on, this epic of a hint at SOMETHING...just for a damn toy, I just won't believe it until I see it. Comic-con. CHECK Movie artwork book. CHECK So please tell me, what the hell else could it be???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I said we can rule those things out as the premise for this big "message" everybody has gotten, and the whole reason for the what is 10 11 12 thing. And I mentioned toys as being checked off of the possible announcement because at comic-con NECA displayed Prometheus figurines. So that means CHECK THAT OFF OF THE LIST. And I read everyones comments through and through. Any more questions? Can we get back on topic about this message?

So FOX Marketing still works fine for you, guys? Why not think "real"? They feed us up with some decoy. And it works fine! But i dont expect too much... dont need another disappointment this year.

10.11.12 is the date of the East Coast Comicon convention. There will be more presentations there, and the Weyland recruiting system will be the focus. I like your idea better of a relaunch of the flick @deftones1986, but I'm pretty sure this is the last promotional round of support for the movie to drive the blu-ray sales.

USA based, but I guess you could just dial up with the country code if you wanted to spend the money. I've not/can't hear it... but i'm speculating if the word dead pops up, it might be something to do with the passing of Weyland/Vickers either sent back or realised at Weyland, and we're intercepting a communiqué about it. The use of the word "investor" may or may not have something to it also

Yeah the number is for people in the US only unfortunately, which is really strange. But anyway, has anyone decoded the message in the second half of the call? I can't make anything of it...
