Well, if there is no news about the home release of the film then I'd wager that has to with a combination of the fact that the film is still in theaters and has yet to be released in some major markets in Europe and Asia and that there is an ongoing viral campaign whose end goal is still a mystery to those of us who do not work in the marketing cell that's running the viral campaign.

I see where the SDCC is covered by the G4 channel. I have yet to see any mention of Prometheus..but plenty of Star Wars and Knight Rider coverage..
I just can't handle the Hoff, Darth and David in the same Universe...
