Question about Shaw and Engineer

Just a theory and I know this may sound perverse but didn’t Sir RS warn us to expect exactly that? IMO Dr Shaw has been infected by Holloway more completely than pregnancy alone, in much the same way as an STD. The Engineer recognised that her human DNA was enhanced/altered by Black Goo/Xeno DNA. This would explain her apparent imperviousness to pain, running, leaping, fighting, wielding an axe just after performing a “caesarean” (rather than an abortion) indifference to that, not bothered about nudity, indifference to the sacrifice of others, etc. This would also explain why the Engineer tracked her down after losing his precious cargo: she is the living embodiment of what his team was trying to perfect.

ALIENS we see a female chestburst - can't remember her name. They torch herhowever, so I guess we'll never know. Also there's no proof where the queen in ALIENS comes from is there? MUTHUR knows best.

That is a lot for the Engineer to process,in the short time he wakes up and then attacks our crew... I am not sure the reaction of the Engineer is to seeing Shaw .or the words from David,, I am betting the android talking,,was quite an eyeopenner..caused a killing spree..

@ Indy John The killing spree didn’t include Dr Shaw. Why didn’t the Engineer kill her? He had no trouble disposing of the others. And why should it be “a lot for an Engineer to process in the short time”? It would be a lot for any human to process, in fact probably only the paranoiac mind could get it right and for the wrong reasons! But we can’t even work out why, given they created us, they now wish to destroy us. Here we sit, projecting our psychology and motivations on the race which generated us. Why did they? Maybe we should return to Zeus, Prometheus, Enki, Enlil and the Book of Enoch or just take far fewer steps back to the Romans’ view of their slaves for the answer. We were the slaves of the Engineers: we were no more and no less than our machines are to us. And what do we do when our dish-washer, cooker, computer, car, TV, Sat Nav, clothes hangers, etc have outlived their usefulness? We either recycle them or throw them away to make room for something else we want. Something better. And we never forget our defunct slave’s characteristics.

You mention recycle or throw us away...but what about 're-pupose'? I am sure humans would have had some value to the Engineers,,even if we were displayed in one of their museums!
