There's an unusual view of the large head that was apparently used for promoting the movie. Zooming into the image reveals quite a bit of detail that one assumes was also in actual head in the movie. Among other interesting little tidbits, aside from the weird stripes, are what appear to be several letters written on the third stripe up on the side of the face and the symbols near the nose, including what might be a man or the crescent shaped Engineer spaceship. Are these things red herrings or might they have some significance?
