I'm actually sick of aliens. I mean how many times can you be scared by the same rehashed facehugging and chestbursting scenes.

I don't mind the various CB/DH scenes there if they are paerrt of the plotline and add to the story.. It is like an action movie that is filled with explosions + chase scenes... but not much charactor development.. That is fine if you are 15,,,but as older thinking human.. I need a little more than in-your-face(no pun intended) scenes in my movies.

@ indyjohn @spacenik Yeah i understand what you guys are saying . "That" story line has been done to death. after the first two movies of the alien series "that" story line lost its apeel . its a pitty 3 and 4 didnt try anythin new. But i think there is lot more to say, still a few more mysteries to be solved. maybe something to do with the engineers perhaps, i would love to see that .

"..But i think there is lot more to say.." Yewa a lot more could be told ..if Ridley and his production team apply themselves and start producing the next series of storylines... Ridley has the vision..but using his team would allow a quicker resolve of many issues identified at this site. I do not object to a RS produced Prometheus 2,,being directed by others,,as long as it it true to what we have been shown and not a 'dream'..or 'time travel'thread,

Just a Sci-fi movie would do, doesn't need to be connected to Alien!

I want ridley to do another prometheus film (and soon!). I think this new angle (prometheus) is really interesting and could benefit greatly from further exploration (narratively). He really needs to bring this "baby" home. the potential for a truly stunning story arc is there. I hope they see this thing through! beyond and after the hypothetical prometheus sequel, id like to see ridley completely depart from the "alien world" and really push the envelope with another original sci fi film.
