Sounds like trollish review. Too much dissection. I wonder If he looks at the old alien movies with same view, he's not going to like any movie in sci-fi genre. I guess he must be hardcore drama or love story reviewer.

It has a style of it's own, but he, or she, has obviously given it some thought and raises plenty of issues which do seem fundamental, valid...and odd.
I wouldn't call that trolling..."a good hard kicking", perhaps - but then, perhaps the real problem is not that, "there's too much dissection", or that, "he must be a hardcore drama or love story reviewer", but simply the painful fact that, one way or another, this film strongly tends toward basically taking it's own pants down, offering up its tender backside and asking - no: begging - to be booted clear into the stratosphere with a force that produces a shockwave and vapour trail...
They shouldn't have made it quite so easy.
