Elder Re-design?

The BR/DVD content may answer that question... or the sequel.

They were not very good so it was a good move dont know weather they will end up looking more old SJ but I hope its allot better - I think there will be one god like thing as well above them but its all rumors as usual right now. As with many many questions it depends on whats next. And the back of the art of promtheus book does not fill me with confidence quote: "I'm thinking about what the hell I might do for a PROMETHEUS 2.." Now I hope to god that means he faking it and he had an over all idea for part 2 or maybe even 3 already and more stuff is on the way. Because if that is it that one film was as far as they had got with all the ideas - O M G that would be far worse than I first thought !

my opinion is, that "Elders" had 500 milion years to change. it's a fu...g lots of time, to re-engineer themselves. notice - Bob is not like the guy from pre-cambrian. he has the suit - is this really the suit? or maybe self -driven mutation? maybe they, like us, thought about self-improvement, and they ended like cyborgs, not so far from their biggest achievement, xenos? let's look at "the" mural, with xeno crucified. scotty is just perverted. :-D

I really hope there's no god crap in the next one. It's supposed to be sci-fi not fantasy.

@spacenik: but so-called god is quite alright in terms of both. what is "god"? some superior being? some absolut (not talking about a vodka brand)? it's relevant in terms of questions.

One question I would have is about an elder's lifetime 100 yers ia one thing,, A 1,000 years is a different story,,and the changes would have taken much longer . More generations would be needed o account for any changes.

That would be cool if they redesigned the elders so they were like giants but had absorbed the bio-goo many ancient years ago making...their faces beast/bug-like pharaonic living masks. Like the mural suggests they had laid with the bio-morphic beast so over time they would no longer be human. The Most Logical Reason is the same as why we never saw much of the Hammerpede or what happened to Milburns Face Buster and why we got Mutant Swollen Head Fifield as opposed to the other cool concepts and work. They was left out as they wanted to savoir the Alien DNA for the Shaws Baby vs Engineer Bob and Deacon Scenes. So i feel the Elders are left out as Ridley wants to visit them in Prometheus 2 and so by leaving them out leaves some Mystery about them, and questions that will not be answered until Prometheus 2. I would also not bet against the deleted Elder Scene to be added into Prometheus 2 as another Flash Back, i feel it will show this scene and then up to the point where we see the Sacrificial Engineer take the Bowl and Walk over to the Water Fall i.e the Start of Prometheus. Then maybe we will then get a explanation for why the Elders sent out the Sacrificial Engineer to do the Sacrifice.
