Well lets look at Scenario 1 LV 233 If the 2nd movie was to be about what becomes of the following... a) LV 223 Outpost b) The Deacon Xeno c) Weyland Corp/Yutani d) Shaws Warning Message So if the movie was about what happens to Weyland Corp after the apparent failure of Project Prometheus as its CEO (Weyland) and other high ranking Member (Vickers) are dead, we have to ask does Weyland or Yutani send out another mission to discover what happened to Prometheus and its crew? Or does a vessel discover Shaws Message at some point in future and then that information gets back to Weyland/Yutani? The Problem with such a movie would be the plot holes regarding Alien, if Weyland/Yutani set out to discover what became of Prometheus and then come across the outpost and/or the Deacon. One of the biggest gripes with AVP movies was how they cant be cannon to Alien because well in Alien mankind had not come across the Xeno prior to Alien 1979, where as the AVP movies and particularly AVP2 mankind came across the Xeno a long time prior to Alien. Well likewise would be if mankind discover LV 223 and the Deacon, unless at the end of their discovery no one manages to survive and only a vague amount of information gets back to Earth and LV 223 is destroyed prior to Alien. Also a movie about the Deacon would be far too similar to Alien or Aliens the Deacon is not different enough from the Xeno, so Prometheus 2 if it goes that route would be just like a Prometheus meets Alien or Aliens. Nope i think the movie has to go and will go the route of Scenario 2. Which i think will cover and answer the following well visit the following. a) Where do Shaw and David end up going to and what do they find. b) The Engineers Homeworld or another outpost. c) The Elder Engineers and their relation to Engineers. d) The purpose of the Engineers and maybe LV 223. e) Why the Engineers created us, why they wanted us destroyed. f) What else have the Engineers created. g) Who created the Engineers and Elders. I think that the above has more scope and is a major mystery, we know a lot about the Xeno, we now have better idea of how they may have came to be, well we can work out that the Engineers are linked with their creation o indeed finding the species and that the Urns contain DNA connected to the Xeno. we do not know 100% what the Derelict on LV 426 mission was, where it was going and why, we do not know 100% where the Xeno and Eggs came from. I dont think we would do after Prometheus 2, not in detail i think that Prometheus 3 will link Prometheus 1+2 to Alien but feel Prometheus 2 would be about the Elder Engineers and their connection with the Engineers, Mankind and why they wanted us dead if they indeed was aware of LV 223. Maybe we ma find out if the Elders and Engineers were created by some other being? I think we would find out one of the following 1) The Engineer Homeworld and Elders are not aware of the events of LV223, or its creation and maybe even mankind. Pointing to the Engineers of LV223 stealing the fire from their Homeworld to create mankind, then maybe destroy us to cover their theft from the Gods. 2) The Engineer Homeworld is near baron, and like LV223 most of their race has been destroyed, maybe in some kind of Civil War, maybe the Engineers of LV223 created the outpost to create a Weapon they first used on their homeworld. This scenario we may even see their world infested with horrors and created Bio Weapons thus creatures similar to the Xeno but not the Xeno itself as Ridley said Prometheus 2 would steer away from the Xeno. 3) The Engineer Homeworld is pretty much intact and has Elder Engineers on it that are fully aware of the creation of mankind, and maybe also the creation of LV223 and its mission objective and potentially the reason they wanted to wipe out mankind... This would ask the question why would they want to do that and why have they not investigated what became of LV223 or Earth as surely they would not go over 2000 years with no contact or update on the mission. The one that would raise the least questions and plot holes and one that would also steer away from Xenos would be 1).

HMMM,,, Shaw and David, make it to the origin of the engineers, there they exchange alot infomation from each other , david gets more info from the ships onboard ....Holograms about the engineers themselves (Im reaching ,lol) anyway, shaw, because of her beliefs, is grated a power or energy to become like an engineer, davids helps her to make this transistion, they inturn head back to earth,bringn back this power (they think) but the engineers, being that they have no real reason to share there power,and are pissed at what they have done so far (Humans) .Position a egg, in a stored place on there craft which eventually is alerted and a facehugger attacks shaw, and at that point David understands they (the engineers) set them up to bring back this spawn to earth and let it do what it was meant to do, david suggest shaw get into the bio-suit to contain and stall the process of hatching, to where it dosent work and they crash, being on a planetoid called LV 426.....so the SJ in alien is a mutated shaw....in bio suit.............what ya think?

ZMAN3494 I second that. It's been done before. Newt survived the complete and lethal infestation of Hadleys Hope only to drown in a cryopod on Fury 161. Ripley survived both the Nostromo Incident, Hadleys Hope and most of A3 only to give birth to the biological manifestation of her nightmares. It's been done, nothing justifies investing in characters through multiple movies only to see them outdone by that which they fear most. Final Destination, the Friday the 13th films, Halloween, and the list could go on, and on. The point being it's cliche, and the final reveal should be something colossal and which justifies all of the waiting for an answer.

Scientists: Dr Daisuke (Astronomer), Dr Arthur (paleontologist), Dr Sydney (Archeologist), and Dr Savir (Geneticist) Pilots: Jim, Kail and Connor. The crew explores the pyramid. Inside on the temple the crew is attacked by huge snakes (22 feet long) living in the swamps of Black waters of the big head room. There, one of the creatures crushed the head of one of the Marines, Hunter, with their powerful jaws. Then Lawrence opens fire with his pulse rifle against the creature, killing her; but the corrosive blood reaches his face and body and burned to death. Another snake wrapped around the body of Cameron crushing by constriction. After killing him is burned with a flamethrower by Commander Shepard. Finally, the monster is destroyed, but the squadron of the mission has suffered heavy losses. The crew also collected what looks like a kind of solidified green resin, this resin in the form of green crystals preserved in very good condition DNA samples from some kind of creature. The samples dating back millions of years old. There, the creature displays enormous tentacles and inserted into the skin of Shaw. Shaw's body begins to mutate into a big biomechanical woman. The Engineers found the DNA samples of an extinct race of monsters in Crystals of green resin. In the process many Engineers died but one survived to complete the mission. But before David takes the following action, the terrifying figure of the now transformed Shaw appears behind him to destroy it. Now a dark and frightening battle will occur in LV-223...

OF COURSE SHE'LL BE ANNIHILATED by the greed of her human counterparts, on arrival.

some interesting ideas there. We have to look at many of the concept work and art and deleted scenes and they give us a clue as to what the homeworld would be like. The concept work shows many different and bizarre Bio Mechanical Ships, that look more out worldly than even the Juggernaut and Saucer. I still think the Derelict on LV 426 had been there for a long long time and its journey was only short so it had left somewhere a small distance from where it landed. This would make me assume the Derelict had left LV 223 or somewhere else in between LV 223 and LV 426. I would assume that they kept some Xeno Eggs on LV 223 in which they had used the goo the Sacrificial Engineer had taken to break down the Xeno Organism into a substance that contains its DNA and then store this broken down DNA with some other substance in the Urns. I propose that something on LV 223 acted like a giant Fruit Juicer turning deadly Xeno Bio Weapons into more easy to store and use Xeno DNA Smoothies.

@Shambhala. Okay, i'm hoping that is the actual scrip for the movie, because 1 it fills in every gap in Prometheus that people keep bitching about. 2 It fits perfectly into alien. Sooooo Shambhala, is that the actual script... or did you just make it up?

Is it conceivable that the Engineers would have "a home world"?. I'm more inclined to think that they are part of an ancient Galactic civilisation that left such notions behind millions of years ago. Even in the light-hearted [i]Stainless Steel Rat[/i], mankind's origins are described as being on Planet Dirt, or Earth, or something like that.

The single biggest flaw in Shambhala's narrative, the one deplorable fallacy, the sole error which is almost beyond repair- is that no link was posted where I can buy movie tickets [i]right frickin' now[/i]. Fix it! =) Loved it! This is the type of thing I wanted to see in Prometheus. =-(

Hey, apart from accepting the drawing as part of GIger's illustrator contract, did Scott never think to ask Giger what the hell that Space Jockey was supposed to be? i.e. an Elephant being who is bonded to his SpaceTime Telescope FROM BIRTH or something? It would have ended all the speculation, no?

Unfortunately this time Ridley was not very interested in the opinion of Giger, but here at this point an interesting question arises...Was there any time when Ridley Scott was interested in biomechanics?...And I say this because as I understand Mr. Scott initially did not like the idea of the croissant Derelict...just saying of course :P
