I never saw this topic covered anywhere here so I thought I would post it. Her name means : "God's promise", "oath of God", "pledged to God", "Consecrated to God" or "I am God’s daughter". It fits, but then again, there are loads of "Christian" names with Biblical origins. My own included.

David is interesting also As it means beloved, also applies to King and Beloved Son and sometimes favored of God. Jesus is not refereed as Son of God, it is Lords Salvation or Salvation.

Now that's interesting BigDave! If Ridley and gang are going down the Jeebus was an engineer route, then maybe the engineers are guardians of Gods essence (the black stuff maybe? Or maybe the green crystal thingy?) *smiley*

@BigDavel; In the cut scenes Weyland refers to himself as God and David as his son made in his own image. We also know David is his favourite child.
