Unless he said something in the deleted scenes (which I haven't seen) he only said that there are "many others". He didn't give a specific number.

I think this little planetoid was swept clean when the engineers occupied it. I would say that they would not want any company visiting while they messed with their bio-weapon research and development.

ZZ, yeah, it's from those deleted scenes that have now been scrubbed from the 'net (for copyright reasons).

That picture above isnt from the deleted scenes, and i dont recall any mention of just three ships in them either.. The only time the amount of ships is mentioned is at the end of the film as Shaw is unaware there is a way to escape the planet. It obviously starts the set up for the sequel.

are laboratories for biological weapons, I wonder if they all have the same life forms that we saw in the movie, or is it possible that there is something new there...anyway I still see as a military base.

I noticed this too in the second vision of the movie... but what caught my attention the most was that there are 2 or more "caves" like the one the Prometheus crew explored! what's in the others one?

yes, it certainly looks like something manmade. i know those scenes are filmed in the dessert somewhere (ridley said the same place as lawrence of arabia) so maybe those are real structures there, but i would expect they would have digitally removed them if that was the case. its an interesting find ...

As hard as I tried i just didn't see any mountain structures..but I would like to! On the flyover scene where we first view the pyramids Holloway spots them and selects the landing spot. THis maybe more of technical question but when discovering a new village/ structures wouldn;t it be more prudent to flyover all of them first and then select a landing spot? Charlie was energized when he spotted his lines not made by God. I would also think it worthwhile to sort of scope out the landscape before landing.

i scoured the mountains during the scene in question (source=1080p). Although i can see how one's imagination might make the area in question look a bit like structures, I see nothing but mountains. I dont think there is anything to this.
