I think having Aliens explored in new books and comics is good, but as far as actually on the Big Screen....

I would love to see a Alien 5 but then it would have to be done very very well and have no Ripley..
But as with Prometheus, a movie that attempts to touch upon the Franchise is set up to fail to some degree because of the hype and the president set by Alien and Aliens.
Another Alien movie would have a huge task to better Aliens to Alien Resurrections yet alone match Alien, and there is more chances it may disappoint rather than be seen as a improvement.
Also once you make a Alien 5, you could leave the door open for Alien 6 and 7 etc etc.
