September 28, 2012Both the juggernaut interior and the hangar it was kept were less biological looking than what we saw on ALIEN. Also the cargo hold of that juggernaut is not like the one on ALIEN but then again the whole ship is somewhat smaller (same class, different configuration, so that is not really unexpected in any payload oriented vessel)
Actually the interior of the juggernaut is more mechanical looking. The corridor and doors leading to the bridge (which is smaller and has a different configuration) is more mechanical, the corridor resemblong some designs from Dune.
Of the bridge itself we notice many differences if compared to the first movie: control panels, chair, hypersleep chambers...none of those were on the juggernaut from the first movie. That is another addition I did not wellcome, as the outlook of the ALIEN derelict ship added to its alienness (no recognizable technological controls, nothing resembling human tech or designs, the control chair, looking like bones, sinews and such...and yet transmitting the audio signal recorded in it in times undisclosed...very eerie, very appealing.
