i dunno. The blu ray release was always set for 10.9.12. it wasnt until recently that it got changed to 10.11.12 (probably mistakenly). now its back to the original date of 10.9.12. why on earth would they have done all of this if they were just going to change the campaign from 10.11.12 to 10.9.12? who knows. at this point nothing would surprise me. 10.11.12 may be literally nothing at all or it could be that its just the blu ray release and its been moved over to 10.9.12 OR there may actually be something really cool/meaningful associated with october 11'th. Im just looking at it like this: imo, we got an excellent film (prometheus), an excellent blu ray release of the film, and the promise of a sequel in several years (and lots of cool collectibles/marketing stuff). anything else is just a bonus.
