ALIEN RESURRECTION

I personally enjoyed Resurrection. The aliens were something new and Ripley had that unseen in her plus she was like that mix of alien in her DNA. The Aliens had more a bit more action in the film and they seemed to be more smarter since they came from a queen who shared her DNA with Ripley. The best aliens were the marine aliens.

ehhh. i really do not like alien insurrection. For me, its an aesthetic thing. I dont necessarily think that the film fails at what it attempts to do, i just think that what it attempts to do is not worth doing.

Well, yeah but the visual look was great :).

Dont get me wrong the movie was ok as far as action etc and some of the ideas where good. Just as i felt with the AVP movies.... But for me some of the concepts in the movie are flawed. And the biggest is the whole way they managed to obtain Ripleys DNA and clone her. And the biggest problem is how could they by getting a sample of DNA clone her and have her pregnant with a Xeno Queen and a Hybrid etc.

Well future is full of surprises :P I think there were remains of the queen and her, since the queen burst out and Ripley held it.

Wow! Actually I have tried several times to give this movie another chance, and i just can't bring myself to like it. It is the absolute worst. Sigourney Weaver's performance was horrendous! When she says "I'm the monster's mother" i wanted to kill everyone involved in the making of this film. Come on- seriously, Alien 3 i could live with as a shit finish to the trilogy, but THIS!? THIS!? Don't defend this movie- it was like a bad self-parody. Btw- since when do XENO's spit acid, and if they can just do that, why do they kill one of their own to utilize acid blood and escape the holding cell. I literally paused stopped typing just then, went and forced myself through the underwater scene (in which the cast is underwater for about 3 minutes before taking a breath) and HOLY SHIT WHAT A TERRIBLE MOVIE!! Every scene in this movie is an embarrassment! Somehow the effects and simple space scenes are worse than a movie made over 20 years before it!! God i feel bad for Joss Whedon; apparently it actually started out as a cool story.
