Wow! I really wish they would have included some deleted scenes. For example I kept wondering where the worms came from and that one scene totally answered my question.

Sorry to sound like an idiot but is the theatrical cut the original movie? Because in the movie the worms appeared from nowhere. But in the deleted scene it showed the worms being discovered by the team.

Really, a bit of editorial accuracy wouldn't go amiss, this could have been SPECTACULAR FOOTAGE, instead it's old news. Plus the AVATAR 2 TEASER on that userpage is a pile of crap 'other film' advert clickthrough scam -- man that made me angry. Yes, I'm looking forward to Avatar 2 as Avatar was AMAZING, superb and brilliant.

@Space-Jockey: You might have missed it, but some regular worms were shown in close-up being trampled under foot in the Big Head Room. Then, later, the same worms were having a bath in the black goo at the base of an urn. Which, of course, led directly to their subsequent mutation. I can see why most of the additional scenes were dropped for good editorial reasons.

I saw that part. I was wondering what they are and where they came from. When I saw that deleted scene I realized they were aliens native to the planet and not something maybe Prometheus brought with them .
