@zzplural I sense that the engineers were employed by the EU governments to fight the unemployment rates by releasing the Xenos to the striking masses, what a radical solution! I think Greece and Spain will be hit first and then Italy and Portugal, but we will have to see the opening of Prometheus 2 to find out.

Well it would appear that Shaw will have to re attach Davids Head, and then David will pilot the ship to the Engineers homeworld Paradise. so they can meet the Gods/Creators. But Ridley hints that the place they would find would be nothing like Paradise and more like Hell. So reading into those who knows whats going to happen, there is a lot of potential plot holes and continuity errors that Ridley is going to have to navigate in order to cover that by the time of Alien mankind or at least the Company seem to have little knowledge of the Xeno never mind the Engineer race.

Frankly, any speculation regarding the sequel is simply mental masturbation. When it became known that Scott intended an Alien prequel we all speculated about this and that and I doubt seriously that anyone envisioned the final product before it hit the theaters.
