Engineer Deacon/Xeno Theory

Idk if this idea has been used or not but here is what I have: What if the Deacon that has burst from the Engineer was actually the Engineer himself, but he is taking his shape of his smaller form being the Deacons body. Because the mural of the Xeno/Deacon looking creature on the wall of the temple, it may be telling us that these are the second forms/lives of the Engineers. It's a little tough to explain in words, but thats the best i can do. Just lemme know what you thing

I have not seen anything in the movie that the Engineer was ready to advance to the next state of development. However since he was the Last Engineer,,and the only surviviour of the pods. there maybe something special about him. I think the deleted scenes are meant to be deleted,,his going through the escape moduke before encountering Shaw may show an onquisitive nature thyat we did not see in the movie. As far as a Minnie-Me type of creature maybe so,,but with the Xeno the lead personality looking for adventure.
