He was in stasis for approx 2,500 years (I may be off as I am going off of the carbon dating on the headless engineer body by the door leading to the repository.) How would he know if anything changed during that time that would make his orders, like delivering a bio weapon to earth, still standing. it is my opinion that a LOT can happen in 2,500 years. Maybe he was a rogue, like a sleeper cell from a different faction of engineers, trying to destroy earth at any cost. He was the only survivor (that we know of), as if you look closley enough- all of the other stasis pods have a hole in the center of them as if something busted through them from the inside, EXCEPT his. Maybe his plan was to sabotouge the facility at LV-223 and destroy earth in one shot but something went wrong and he had to put himself in stasis to avoid death.
Any thoughts?
