SJ chestburster/alien

Agreed Cuponator, this deacon went through an actual human pregnancy even though the final outcome was non-human, whatever came out through this process was going to be unique and can not be compared to other xenomorphs that have been shown so far. I would still like to see the results of a classic chestburster that would result from engineer + xeno-DNA only. Also it is clear that these xenomorph species differ from the ones originally found in the derelict ship by the Nostromo on LV426. I really would like to see the results of an engineer infected by a classic xenomorph, so we could finely see the effect on an Alien on an engineer. As to who would survive between engineers and an outbreak of those xenomorphs, it would depend on how well prepared the engineers were prior to contact.

We might see this in the possible third installment. which i'm not holding my breath on) because we would most likely be able to see the juggernaut crash on lv 426 and the sj burst!

having said that it does going by carlos huantes adult deacon image look alot like the alien in the mural so not too far different unless....... humans were involved previously?!?!

@cuponator: but dont you think that the derelict had already landed on LV 426 by the time shaw and the crew of the prometheus landed on lv 223? seems like the filmmakers were suggesting that the derelict going down on LV 426 was a result of the"outbreak" that occurred 2000 yrs prior to the prometheus mission. The above scenario is where the "parallel" story notion comes from. they are related, but are two different stories running parallel to one another etc.

i was saying that since there would be the connection to alien in a third film might somehow show what an example of the engineers getting infected and a xeno that we havent seen come out of an engineer. i do think that the derelict was there but i just had the initial thought of an original chestburster on a sj being shown in at least on of the movies in this possible trilogy so. in short, this is just a startin point for my thinking of what a chestburster+sj=(?)

The Original chestburster must be different from the Deacon, but not necessarily later. Perhaps the Deacon is a future version. In fact I think that @Joeyjoe is right in this, maybe is a parallel story, and unless Ridley Scott change his opinion, this will remain a part of the past. Anyway I think that the Space Jockey on LV-426 could be shown as a scene from the ancient past in the prologue.
