The hype for Prometheus was unreal and the Sequel will be just as much given we all want certain questions answered.
Could it have been possible that certain "in ship" scenes were shot ?
We know that David and Elizabeth are in the Sequel so its possible that some scenes could have been produced for the Sequel ?
What do you think, could it have happened. I know nothing about Sequel scenes have been said while doing the first one,.

MemberFacehuggerFeb-15-2013 8:01 AMIf part of the sequel takes place on the ship that Shaw and David are in while on their way to the Engineer's world, Paradise, then it would certainly have helped save money to film those scenes while the set, actors and crew were already together in one place. But I imagine that would have required a "sign off" of some kind from Fox Studios. So it depends on how successful they thought 'Prometheus' would be even before it hit theaters. Somewhat of a risk for a studio, but looking back now after the movie made $403M worldwide, it would have been a good investment, so to speak.
In short, I think it's a distinct possibility some of 'Paradise' has already been shot because if Scott's plan all along was more than one movie and he explained this to Fox Studios, I think they would be looking ahead as well and see the benefit. I don't know that a lot of 'Paradise' has been filmed, but small portions, yes.
