its xenomorph, nothing will ever change that. its interesting, iconic, makes sense, and like the term "space jockey" if you use it for such a long time, it will never change no matter how much you shove a new name into the movies. so why even bother trying? lol

xenomorph is fine by me since the films, comics and games always have xenomorph. although others are named without xenomorph such as predaliens, praetorians and razor claws. I like to call them as demons from the sky or as engineers would say experiment gone wrong.

Thank you Cuponator but I have to point out that unlike Bob and Cuddles, Bruno is a serious suggestion for an alternative to Xenomorph. For those still on the fence, may I suggest Brunomorph.

What's about Plaque ( xeno as an ultimate parasite) consumes everything what lives, and after that dye, and only its spores survive; waiting for another chance/host. Still the xenomorph is my favorite name!! :-)

The unknown, as we know, is far more terrifying than anything we could assign a name to. This is why people so desperately feel a need to name and know everything. This is also why we fear death (because truthfully, no one knows, if we were certain there was a cloudy heaven waiting, well that wouldn't be scary at all) This I why the creature is so much more effective when it remains nameless. Xenomorph is a stupid title, it literally just means Alien, or 'Foreign Form' I think ill stick with "that creature from Alien" or "The beast" Xenomorph sounds like a bug infestation, which set the tone for the stupid Cameron follow-up.

I Personally can't think of anything more mysterious and frightening than MORB. The way everybody refuses to embrace it only proves that it's too frightening to even type on a keyboard. Good thing I have the courage to do this for you. MORB is the new BOO!!
