I felt rushed because there people waiting for there turn for a pic. He said Relax, whats your name?". I told him that my name was Dale and I was tongue tied because my mind suddenly went blank. He said relax and come by his autograph booth and he'd answer all my questions. He was very genuine. The whole time the photographer was yelling at us to look at the camera but he just took his time and made fans feel welcome. He was like that with all the people in front of me too.

Thats pretty cool dude its been awhile since Aliens man he's aged a little bit not too much though. I remember him in The Terminator and in Tombstone playing Johnny Ringo.

He will always be immortalized to us as Hicks. Its nice to hear that he is has a positive temperament. To many celebs become jaded by their past success.

Sounds like a nice fella. Beihn and a lot of the Aliens cast went on to do some really good roles - Bill Paxton, Jeanette Goldstein and not least Lance Henrickson. I'll always associate him with the best of 80s sci-fi films and the genre. Someone wants to give him a really meaty role soon though. Last thing I saw him in was 'Bereavement' where he had a good if rather a low-key part.

He is a good actor like what someone said earlier about him Aliens I love him in that movie.

*sighs* Ah, I was in love with Hicks! I was mad as hell that he was killed off in Alien 3!!!
Mind you it wouldn't have fitted storywise, for Ripley to have had some happiness & a love interest.

Yeah they should have kept him alive in Alien 3 but instead have him basically go right back to the Marine Corps. No love interest but at least we would know he did make it and Newt too.

Alien 3 was the worst movie "...". Sigourney Weaver herself chose a script with Ripley's death, though, I heard. Someone once suggested the story should have been with Hicks setting out to try to eliminate the xeno threat in another place, and Ripley would have safely returned to Earth with Newt. That would have been action, and Ripley could have gotten involved in intrigues on Earth prosecuting the company and finding out what they know and possess on Earth in terms of alien technologies or specimens.

Instead, we are left with unknowns about all this, going into the future of the franchise and the predator cross-overs for the fans. Ms. Weaver wants to do a 5th Alien movie now, and in my opinion they should just go back and write a sequel to Aliens like I said. The age difference doesn't matter, and can even serve the story, with Hicks being an officer or even a captain.

I don't know about another alien movie...Now I would be one of many to be the proverbial first to see it and follow every single piece of news about it (like on Prometheus) but I just, at the current moment, don't see just throwing in another Alien series sequel. Once I see the results of Paradise and a unlikely, but possible threequel, I could probably join this sentiment.

Zetaridiculi: I think I read that he writes scripts and stories now.
Al: He made everyone feel welcome :)
Hicks: I felt lucky cause I don't think he frequents conventions too much.
Shambala: Thankyou.
