MemberOvomorphMay-17-2013 6:03 AMIve recently been buying old films ive seen when I was young. One of these films was Legend starring Tom Cruise, but I also didnt realise Ridley Scott directs too. =O
Im not saying this film is great, Ridley Scott definitely knows how to do darkness and monsters better than fairies and goodness.
But when i noticed this and watched it, I tried to spot anything that would maybe feature in Prometheus 2 and i did. Near the end of the movie,when inside the dark kingdom, there are giant pillars,all with weird patterns on, they're muriels everywhere, the dark lords seat is constantly oozing, its very giger-esque.
Also this was made in 1985 i think and the effects look amazing, few times i was genuinely abit scared lol.

Also Tim Currie is great, never seen him play a nice guy lol.

AdminPraetorianMay-17-2013 9:49 PMAMG I loved that movie!! You have to watch the one with the Tangerine Dream soundtrack, the US release/version. Ridley changed things recently, like he always does wit his movies, and the soundtrack is only the UK version which is very boring and traditionnal. Oh those dark pillars are in Blade Runner too, it's Ridleys style is all.
