Thank you Christopher, for sharing that with us. Giger is such an amazing man and artist. Going to Feature this so more people can get the chance to see it. :)
That bar and Museum is really worth visiting, trust me. . . There is also a store there that sells some really beautiful items. You can buy stuff from the store online too.

I'm so glad to share it. Giger changed art for me, like the Beatles changed music. I don't think there's been a single movie monster that has come close to what he did with Alien, before or since. It's the holy Grail of movie design, to do something that can top Giger.
I was both haunted & obsessed by his beautiful designs for Alien. Giger gave a face to our worst nightmares.Yet he always comes across as such a sweet & humble man.
Thanks Christopher!

Cool!! I haven't seen too many interviews with him,and he doesn't refer to his work on Alien too often either...nice post ChristopherMoonlight :)
Excellent video! I need to make it a point to visit the museum some day. Giger is so cool and laid back, very humble man, would love to meet him and paint with him. His reaction to "Do they only come out at night?" question at the end was pretty classic.
