8ft tall alien
MemberOvomorphAug-07-2013 12:17 PMDavid and Shaw continue on to find the engineers planet when they arrive they are soon met with a hostile race, david attempt to talk to them however it turns out the engineers never created us for companionship but rather as hosts for the xenomorphs. david it killed head stamped on since thats all that is really left of him and they use shaw as a future host. With david informing them of how they found the engineers planet and of their fellow engineers demise on LV-223, they head over to scavenge whats left and collect their wmds aka alien eggs and black liquid.
With the engineers collecting whats rightfully theirs they soon come face to face with a primitive alien race after they kill a few and fled lv-223 they bomb the planet destroying everything. they then decide that a little visit is in order. thats right their heading back to see how we are doing and to show us that we are an experiment nothing more this is how the war begun. the engineers will attack us man to man but during our use of nukes they are wiped out and we find the alien eggs on their ship. since were host material a few of the boarding party are attacked by facehuggers and the xenomorphs come after us.
thats what i have so far but i have a even better idea for a pre-prequal involving how the engineers and xenomorph are connected prior to lv-223

You must understand that Promethius is a pseudo prequel to the movie Alien. And in alien, the planet exists (as well as the other Alien Movies).
A sequel to this movie should have nothing to do with LV223. That being said, the remaining engineer that was awoken in Promethius died in the Lifeboat... in Alien, he died in his crafts seat. Doesn't make much sense right?
They ended the movie in such a way because the ending would have been anticlimactic for stupid viewers who constantly need things to be spelled out for them, answers if you will, which is why we know that she left to go to their planet, instead simply showing a ship leaving, and then telling us who was in the ship/why it left in the next movie.
Anyone who appreciates this genre and the original quadrilogy was upset by this, because we hoped to obtain a lot of answers, and more importantly, be posed more questions. I had very few questions after that movie, and in sci fi, thats a very bad thing. This movie will not stay with me like alien did. But it was a refreshing take on the beginning.
Promethius two should make sense, chronologically, and scientifically. Where did the lifeboat go? Why did the future crew not detect it in alien? They could have landed it in a valley or something to make this point moot.
