I think this is two questions in one. The first bit is dead easy. Is Paradise going to be a pleasant stroll through a utopian dream ? I think not.
Going back in time to those who remember Hellraiser and the magic box that offers ultimate horror or pleasure. I think Paradise is going to be the epitome of hell. But if hell is the thing you are into, then I am sure it will be a pleasure.

Well our universe is the middle reality of the extremes of Heaven and Hell. We feel pleasure and pain and see around ourselves this paradigm. Yet to get to paradise you must travel a bridge which is as sharp as a sword and thin as a hair and on both sides is the pit of blackhole firey Hell. Hell is the furthest from the creator and the greatest reality Heaven is closest to. Paradise is the lowest level of Heaven. There are 3 spontaneous realities concerning either Heaven or Hell. 1.) Outer experience of environment upon the vessel of the soul. 2.)Inward experience of the Soul. 3.)The degree or intensity of the first 2 depending on what ever the creator decrees. As for super nerd paradise is Dress up Star Wars vs Star trek conventions and side order of Alien/ Preditor Pandors Paradise Box. Perhaps video games are the forth demension, making Death the fifth but not final. But to get to the secret after convention party you got to find the secret elevator / Hellevator? And have a cool name tag at the great Gate.

The term Paradise according to the engineers is their homeland their city. They wouldn't have Urns or they wouldn't breed Xenos in their planet that's suicidal! They have a civilized race but maybe Shaw might land on another military base who knows! For all I know is that Shaw will uncover the most darkest secrets of the Alien Universe.
