I dont wanna see any Predators in this franchise it will ruin it. Here are my reasons and I am not trying to shoot you down but Ridley Scott hates the avp movies. The whole avp thing screwed up the alien timelines and Prometheus was supposed to be the ancient astronaut story not the Yautja. Yes they have been visiting us in the past but as hunters and demons but they are not knowledge bringers.

Sorry Don, but i have to agree with Annu here. I have nothing against the Preds (didn't know they were called Yautja- thanks for that) they are actually pretty cool in their own universe. Just because they are both intelligent aliens doesn't mean we need a mashup. The tone of the two universes just isn't consistent. Someone (maybe you, Annu?) said on here, and i loved it; "I like my Aliens Alien-y and my Predators Predator-y" I still do wonder about that Janek scene on occasion... Or do i?..... Yes, i in fact do sometimes.

Well its a hard one to say, you see many fans have different views some kinda wished Prometheus was going to reboot franchise and link to Alien and kinda make Aliens not count as Canon. Some was not happy with Prometheus because the Space Jockeys was turned into Humanoids in Space Suits... Each has a vision of how they want the franchise to connect. some even want Predators..... Would it be a good idea.... i am not so sure.... However i will go on record and say that the AVP Games and especially AVP2 from a long time ago was actually not a bad way to connect the Predators..... The problem was the movies in how they connected the Predators within the Timeline before Alien and indeed put it almost 100 years prior to Prometheus. I felt a AVP movie could worked if they did the timeline similar to the Video Games... But while that would make a better AVP franchise..... do i think it should be part of Alien Canon..... nope.. set in same universe but not Canon.

good lord.... dear dreadlocked abominations, please stay away from the superior universe. lol. just teasing...sorta. I enjoyed the original predator. Everything else was horrid. Im utterly baffled as to why anyone would want to include predators in the Alien/Prometheus universe. Sounds like a horrible idea. To each, his own.

I think incorporating the Yautja would be a bad idea. However, I think a small easter egg would not hurt. Example: I imagined Shaw walking through the streets of an engineer market, guided by a new alien companion. While walking around, a predator mask can be seen on the shelf of a store. I do not believe that gives franchise any problems.

Thats IF they use markets well maybe Im just spitballing speculation. I guess it would be kinda cool to see a predator mask somewhere in a hidden Easter Egg like the video games do it.
