Alien 3 and Ressurection Need to be Scanned in 4K

Im not going to watch Resurrection again, dont you worry about that.

LOL I am seeing a pattern here - I too would burn the negative sorry - great director - film is not the worst in history but compaired with alien and aliens its terrible!

Just out of morbid curiosity what would you give the whole alien series as in I would give:

Alien : 98%

Aliens : 89%

Alien 3 : 45%

Alien Resurection : 40%

Prometheus : 58%

I know percentages do change a bit with time but what is yours right now.

ALIEN- 100% Well, it\'s simply the best sci-fi/horror hybrid ever. My opinion of it has never changed & never will!

Aliens- 70% Great action, but it\'s really just a war movie in space! *Ducks for cover* :D

Alien 3- Theatrical release-40%, Special Edition-65%. If Fincher had been left alone I think he would have made a great film, on a par with Alien! 

Alien Resurrection- 10%, but only because of Ron Perlman! LOL

Prometheus- 80%, in spite of everything there are spectacular scenes and Ridley really does have a truly amazing, visual gift!

Alien Resurrection - 20% (15% of that is for making me appreciate the other films that bit more)

And I f hate Joss Whedon.  Still, the movie has Sigourney Weaver and xenomorphs in it, so it's still going to be watched at some point.  It may as well look as good as possible.  I don't like how one half of this Blu-ray boxset looks great and the other half looks like ass.  It was really lazy of Fox.

He uses the same idea's over and over and when he comes up with something new you get...................the NEWBORN. What was that about, really, what was that about?

The idea that he has to have a "strong" female character in nearly everything he does pisses me off. Dont get me wrong i like strong female characters in films, Ripley in Alien,Aliens,Alien3 and Sarah Connor in Terminator 1 and 2. The thing is though Ripley and Sarah Connor are strong because of what they have been through. They are strong because of their duty and convictions. Whedons female characters tend to be phyiscally strong. That doesn't interest me at all.

He tried to blame everyone else for the mess that was Alien Resurrection. The story was the problem and that was his doing.

Why did fox give him so much control over the movie ? And ridley it seems doesn't get that same level of control ?

Watch Ressurection AGAIN?!?!?! Are you daft?!? What a joke. I have spent many years convincing myself that this movie never happened. Thanks a lot for bringing it up.

Yeah Alien Ressurection didnt really do it for any Alien fan they kind of effed it up. Jean Pierre Jeunet screwed up that movie pretty bad and his dark humor wasnt necessary at all.

Joss Whedon makse better Super Hero movies than he does anything real and he made a crappy remake of the old timey classic Much Ado About Nothing ick ick and really stupid. I am not a fan of Shakespeare. There are many many speeches and orators better than his old English "ye ol' oft yonder window" crap.

Joss Whedon is the biggest overhyped hack nothing I have ever seen.  Avengers didn't have a plot.  He's the reason this movie was bad.  The director was talented but was handed a bullshit comic book fanboy script and did the only thing possible with it, make it into a dark ccomedy.
