Meeting Lance Henriksen

Oh he is just lovely, one of my fave actors. You lucky bugger you, getting to meet him and the whole 'Aliens' cast. :D

Thanks folks. I just booked another seperate photo op with Vasquey and Blake for tomorrow. They'll also be in the entire cast photo on Sunday but I thought "what the heck". Gotta have a pic with two smart gunners on either side..a guy needs security.

@ Something real: Harbinger Down is a Sci Fi horror film thats being made by the same creature effects people that did John Carpenters "The Thing" and James Camerons "Aliens"(to name a few). The film stars Lance Henriksen and boasts live creature effects(no CG)

Never been a fan of his since his hatefull words about us English. But i'm pleased for you man!

He didn't take kindly to the English crew while working on Aliens at Pinewood Studios. He lost his temper with them and called them a load of English arsholes. He's been very vocal about his dislike of us English since, in interviews. I will try and dig a few out for you. 

He never said anything hateful towards the English he probably just said how us Americans and UK Brits have two different variations of the same language but mean different things. I just remember him saying something on the Making of Aliens interview. To be honest when they were filming Aliens Cameron didnt like the way the stuck up English at the time treated him just because of Ridley. He said it because his experience wasnt that great dont get offensive just because he said something back in the day. I do remember when we had to kick you guys out of our country when we founded it. Then you came back and got your butts kicked again in 1812.

@Something Real; I think Annunaki50 is under the impression that he kicked our butts out of America which is weird because i've never been to America.

Just so everyone understands I still have a half dozen photo ops with the Aliens gang.

Carrie Henn's is tomorrow(Along with Jenett Goldstein and Mark Rolston,Sigourney and others and then all of them together)but I dropped by her auto booth with a Robert Bailey hand drawn sketch I bought.She loved the sketch and took her own pic of it before she signed it,and then sent a helper out to find Roberts booth at the convention cause she liked his work.

She decided to include her favorite line from Aliens with her autograph."They mostly come out at night...mostly".She even said the line to me..I've still got goosebumps.

I'm going to get Sigourney to sign it too.

I am sooooo envious of where you are now, as it is such a once in a lifetime opportunity. I wish I was there.

Having met Lance myself in Manchester, quite some years ago, all I can say is what an exceptional guy he is, which I never knew until I got chatting to him. That’s the way I found him. A very approachable guy. All respect.

Would love to be there .
