R.I.P Giger....

A one of a kind Artist, there will not be another one like him to give us a whole new unique world and look, but i am sure his Artwork will influence many for years to come as it has done allready.

Here and now, we are each alive and given the very rare gift of being able to celebrate this great visionary for everything he's given our world! Life may not be rare throughout the universe, but it is spread thinly across the void. This makes every single thought we have as individuals - as living awarenesses - very special. We should look to Giger as an example of how we should never hold back our creativity and desire to delight others with our imaginations. Life, physical life, is far too precious a gift to simply squander.

Alien had a megaton of talent behind it, but without Giger I doubt any of us would be talking today. It really was him and his bizarre vision that propelled it to such otherworldly heights, and yes, thank you for the nightmares!

Not long after seeing the film I got Necronomicon as a gift and was introduced to a whole new level of art and imagination, I stared at that book for years and destroyed it in the process. Only Alien truly immersed us in that hellish vision, however briefly. I thope his art is studied closely for whatever environment is presented us in Prometheus 2, a dark dreadful Giger world would be breathtaking.

Thats sucks that hes gone now he had the best and most original bad ass art work in modern art history and he will certainly be missed. RIP HR Giger
