Alien Isolation: Opening Cinematic and Gameplay Video

Thanks, I check in on a regular basis, I just tend not to post unless I have some Alien or Prometheus stuff. I am sure when the new film gets rolling we will have the lively debates going again.

Me too I am still bloody waiting for my copy to be installed of this its sitting infront of me but my 24 hour post due on tuesday arrived today only for me to find out my blu ray drive had gone wrong I got a top of the range PC as well with a quad HD 100 fps monitor to play it on making a ps4 look like a toy :( . 

Anyway I havnt seen any engineers or prometheus stuff pop up on it yet but I do want to save most of it for playing the actual thing! Heres a blade runner one:

I have to say if your an alien fan in any way you should definitely play this the actual game is very nice its got everything from the first film well most of the good bits anyway.

And I found the first Promethues link : ripleys daughter that you play in the game is an engineer lol! I mean the human kind unfortunately nothing big yet but seen some great throw backs to the original film like one of the andriods shuffling his feet just like ash when hes going bonkers.

The only thing I would say is not so great is the cut scenes and lip syncing in the game its surprisingly bad in terms of quality I think they just didn’t have anyone that could do this well after all this is how good you can do it now (this is an old ps3 game): 

I wonder if they tried alien isolation out on a high fps monitor becuase it looks very weird going from 100fps to what looks like 15 - 20 fps cut scenes with out of sync audio to the lips. Surely they should of rendered out at least 60 fps in this day and age of technology even a smooth 30 with no compression on it.
