Warner Bros. wins bidding war for rights to 'Forever War'

Cool. Really hope Ridley is working on Prometheus 2 now....'The Martian' should be close to wrapping or editing.

I fear 'Forever War' is the next  'Ender's Game'.....Awesome books but hard to translate?

Well, I'm disappointed that Ridley will no longer be helming Forever War, disappointed for him too, as it's a project he's been wanting to do for years. In the article there's no mention a director yet, so who knows?

Fingers crossed then, for the Prometheus sequel being his next port of call.

Disapointing for Ridley but he had a busy schedule and a lot does point to him working mainly and heavily on Prometheus 2 and considering that rumour was they had a final draft before he starting shooting the Martian...  i think all signs are that Prometheus 2 is a Big Pet Project for Ridley and Fox.... why the delay... maybe they want to get it RIGHT they are not going to rush this and also maybe he has to also wait for commitments of people he would want to have cast.

High hopes i feel for Prometheus 2

Scott has certainly been busy. Maybe he has put Forever War aside for his latest production Child 44, which is just being released. That said, imo I think now would be a cood time for him to be working on P2.

BTW it is worth looking at who is in the cast line up for Child 44, no ther than Noomi Rapace. So it makes sense that not only Ridley is freed up but Noomi as well.

Right Batch!.... and apart from the upcoming Assassin's Creed, Michael Fassbender appears free too! :)
