[Spoiler] Xenomorph sketch and Deacon Alien spotted in leaked Alien: Covenant photos!

This makes me think,if thats really David's workshop/lab located inside an engineer temple/facility,then all those sketches were drawn by David himself?And those black goo ampules were brought from the Juggernaut that Shaw and David travelled in so he experimented with it.

Theres a camera all the way to the right.

 Looks like its the same room that Scott was in when he did a short clip for the man in a hight castle.

Unless its just a studio's workshop.

I'm pretty sure this room isn't supposed to be David's lab or something. It's probably a room where the studio keeps props and sketches

Indeed very interesting if not a bit spoilery....

I am sure its going to spoil it for a number of people, but for some who have studied the movie Prometheus and Franchise deeply and looked at previous concepts and how in the past they have re-used unused concepts from prior Movies.

When we know David has the Black Goo, and we are going to see Aliens* as in more than one....  Before even seeing these images i could already imagine potentially what we could see.

These works are very valid as far as experiments relating to the Black Goo and Xeno strand...  Prometheus had many different concepts and even Props and while a lot never made it into the movie.. we could clearly see that they potentially could have fitted into the whole Engineers Experiments and Black Goo.

So while it looks like some ancient catacomb and this set may actually appear in the movie.... i also think they used he location to house various concept work.

And as with Prometheus this does not guarantee  which of these we would be shown, but certainly a lot more has made it from Concept Drawing to Actual Prop work this time.

It has a very Museum/Collectors look to it and it could be a place where David has studied remains (Fossils) and experiments or even conducted them himself.. it has that look to it... but it could also be work carried out by beings who had been at Paradise Prior to David.

But the biggest questions are surely where does David get Pen and Paper.... or are we being niave to think the Engineers never possessed such things... or would they need to use them depending on what alternatives a advanced culture has.

But indeed the notes near them look like modern writing maybe English and its highly like this is just the Art Department/Prop Studio Model and Concept Room.

Why in such a room and way?

Maybe this room would be used for a few shots in the movie or maybe its there for added inspiration during the design and creative process of the Production Team.

The sketches are clearly not part of the actual film I would assume, but sources have claimed that David spend a hefty amount of time tampering and experimenting with the Black Goo and creation, specific to the Xenomorph.

My biggest question is... Eggs and Ampules... In the same room. Again we're brought to the question, what came first the Black Goo or the Egg?

I want to say the Eggs are, like the Neomorphs spores, a result of a local ecosystem being exposed to heavy doses of the bioformer. But, what if, like some have suggested, the Eggs are used for their genetic properties, and thus are the "secret ingredient" in the Black Goo? These questions get my head spinning.. haha

Indeed the sketches do look a bit odd if we assume David was drawing them while conducting experiments and wanting to become his own Charles Darwin in how he studied many Plants and Organisms in the same fashion.

We thought Matt Damon Scienced the S£!% out of Mars.... thats nothing compared to maybe what David has been up to.

Looking at the set photo's we have evidence of other kinds of Life including a Skeleton of a Bird looking Organism thats very similar to a Dodo Skeleton....

We have New-born or Pre-born Baby Skulls....

And we have the Babyhead design finally made into a Prop and another creature next to it that looks infant and similar to some other Fifield Concepts...

Hard to figure why they would be done and not used, but Prometheus had a few designs make it to Prop stage that was never used.

We have to wander as i said in the other thread... how could we get to those Two Baby/Child Xeno Mutations...

Maybe its to early to jump to conclusions... but the Covenant has couples on does it not?    And maybe David is playing not so nice Dr's and Nurses...

When the Spore leak came the other day, i felt the way the Spores worked as was suggested just did not do it for me... it had flaws... i suggested a different route..

Spores, in my oppinion be better suited to Mutate the Genes like Fifield Monster.... and i wandered... what if those Spores infected a Female who was Pregnant...

A Pregnancy Chest Buster with Mutated Child would certainly be that Chest Buster Beating Scene.... and those Babyhead Props taken from the Covenant Set would fit in with such a Event.

Thats not to say it is this way though... but its what makes more sense.

I think everything shown above someone's sneaky photos of the creature design/build workshop whilst the staff was on dinner-break. I should know (wink wink).

The Giger Baby things are something I'd love to see in the film. The more grass roots early Giger (e.g. Necronomicon slimy humanoids and orifices) the better. It should pull no punches this time around with plenty of intensity of theme, dialogue, horror and terror.

Xeno24: I hope that you are right. It would be disappointing to see how the lab would look like before we get the movie. Hopefully they will manage to make the atmosphere of the place into something nasty like you will get a feeling of the amount of (at least intended) death and destruction that went on there.

These could just be examples of props that they have made this far and maybe some other will be made after we have seen these pictures?

Indeed looks more like that, but i also wander if this set would be used for a scene... if not then i think the Workshops setting is based off a actual set in the movie.

The aim as you had hinted at, could well be to draw inspiration when they are designing concept work.

I dont think we can be certain every design here would be in the movie because there seems to be a lot of concept work and no doubt they could be using concept drawings from Prometheus as Inspiration too, as the Image we had of the Xenomorph Hands from AC had what looked like Hammerpede concept work.

Another thing is while in the back ground we see a lot of concept works, and some could be from Prometheus and others new designs and designs based off those Prometheus concept works.... Even the new designs and props we cant be 100% sure if any or all would become final designs we see on the big screen next August as Prometheus had a few designs and props that was never used.

I will also add maybe we cant read too much into some of the unrelated props...

There is a lot of skeletons there, some that look like Aliens Xeno Heads, but its hard to make out....  And so while we have Humanoid New Born Baby Skulls for example and a Flightless Bird Skeleton....

These again could be actual Skeletons that are merely there for the Art Department to take as inspiration rather than expect them to be things we would see in AC.

Looking at what we know now...

The picture beneath the xeno looks like the neo.  

The xeno looks like a newly designed version compared to the classic big chap below, note the difference in head shape and back protrusions:

david knows nothing of the deacon as neither he nor shaw saw it. only way david wouldv drawn an accurate depiction of the deacon is if he has created one or there r already deacons on the planet. or... during his explorations he has come across ancient cave paintings?

So I have a theory:

What if in a flashback sequence David uses Shaw to recreate the trilobite with a surviving engineer to create a Deacon, then tampers with the Deacon, enhancing and evolving it, turning it into the protomorph? 

I think maybe  and this could be off-screen

But while David did not witness the Deacon... i would assume Shaw would mention about what happened between her and the Engineer at some point to David... and i think he may have gathered enough information from the Engineer Writings and Mural etc.... to have a very educated guess as to what Fate that Engineer now had.

I think surely he would be very interested in finding out the outcome but wont go back down to LV-223 but surely indeed he would love to carry out more experiments.

We dont know for certain yet what Monsters we shall see, or have clues for....  we Definitely know there would be TWO in the movie that are the Neomorph and the New Designed Xenomorph...  One variety from the Spores, the other from the Eggs.

But as far as what else we are shown and how those Eggs came to be... i think we need to be prepared for a lot of ambiguity and maybe the only big clue could be that maybe the Spores came about from a Black Goo infection...  but i have a feeling the Eggs will be left as ambiguous as the Mural and Frescos in Prometheus.

As far as the Neomorph i think it would look like a cross between these two images.
