20 days till Alien: Covenant Trailer & IMDB Confirms Guy Pearce in movie

Unfortunately that's not the official Alien: Covenant Instagram account, otherwise I would be losing it right now. Lol

Also, IMDb has a history of faulty info, especially from their forums. I rarely consider their information accurate. If it were official, Fox would have the account verified and it would link to AlienCovenant.com or their Alien Anthology Facebook page.

They likely assume it will release with Assassin's Creed, which makes total sense. However, as I've said before, Fox will likely release it digitally prior to theatrical. My guess remains the 15th, or close to that date.

Typically we would see a Teaser Trailer released 6-9 months before theatrical release.

Official Trailers to be out 2-4 months prior to typical movie release.

Which is why i guessed at about March lol....

Now the movie has been moved to May 2017 Official Trailers should appear in Cinemas surely by February time and so a teaser should certainly happen by the end of 2016...

As i said the other day the Holiday Period is one where people would watch a lot of TV/Movies and so its ripe time to show a Trailer..... but with the advent of the Internet and Smart Devices..  means that Trailers can be teased on Social Media and the Internet first...

I would keep a eye out on any official FOX, Ridley Scott and Alien or Alien Covenant Websites and Social Media over the next few weeks..

I am actually surprised we never got a short teaser like 10-30 second one on Ridley Scotts Birthday to be honest.

I would however not be surprised if something is shown before the release of Assassin's Creed which although is a PG-13 they could do a teaser prior to before the movie comes out.. that is cut to fit with a PG-13... i.e dont show any Gore etc....

So yes Between December 14th and 21st is a Good shout..
