Prometheus was butchered for time constraints in the theater. There were extra scenes on the DVD but were separated from the movie. I hope RS makes a proper director's cut regardless of what is shown on the big screen.

You are correct. Thanks for correcting. FOX wanted a DC but RS wanted his theatrical version untouched. I still think most deleted scenes, especially the Shaw/Engineer confrontation would have added more depth.

I still hope for a DC- at least have an option to watch with or without deleted scenes.
