Supported Theories

It was hard to say really...

I had a rough theory.... prior to Trailer.. i think maybe it in part plays some similar theme.....  i had a hunch a while back at the reason for the P2 to AC change... which i think is what has happened...  i will detail this after.

We had the Spore Leak... which turned out true..

From this we had 4Chan and IMDB leaks that were similar.. but painted a picture that was not a good movie, well a cop out on some elements.... but after the Trailer there are some things that disprove a number of the so called leaks.

I have a few new theories that are always evolving, and i will try and share some as soon as i can ;)

The trailer didn't show too much so i can't say anything was proven or disproven.I didn't have a lot of theories any way.

I didn't have any theories either as a lot of the details were already explained by people who saw the early footage.

New theories is a completely different story though, as there are a lot of things to discuss. My theory about David being a major "creator" still stands.

I agree with Neomorph regarding David. Other than that, theories/hypothesis continue to develop.

I agree david will have a hand in creating/recreating something but I really hope it is not revealed he is the creator of the xeno and the derelict crashed because of him. the initial trail of events in alien all led me to believe the derelict had been there thousands of years and there is an historic link between the engineers and the xeno and id much prefer that to be the case, makes for a more interesting story. I guess this is the case tho going by the mural as it depicts the xeno and its life cycle. maybe david has seen it and has become interested to see it in all its glory

Its hard to make a correct theory... because of the scope and how does the Xeno purpose connect with Engineers and their Agenda... why create it, why use on us...  when then we consider what caused this change of mind.. who do the Engineers obey and how it fits in with the Fallen Angel aspect..

Very hard to come to a clear cut Scenario ... why i abandoned my P2 draft lol... why i think they had trouble with so many drafts for this movie and then went back to re-write it another 3-4 times with Logan.

But i think connecting AC as far as this movie.... may not be as hard... i would think some of the themes and ideas i was draw to prior have carried on..

I Do-Not think David creates the Xeno, and the Juggernaught is not the Derelict and Paradise is not LV-426.... what a bunch of mess that could be.....

But i think they will not answer these things... just tease us that it could be David the Derelict and LV-426

Then they sit back and gauge Fans Reaction and then the next movies maybe then follow this route...

So where Prometheus left us with (and expected to show us but vaguely left us to ponder).

*The Xeno was ancient and Black Goo connected.

*The Black lead to the Xeno some way but we cant be sure or if its past event or one after.

*Does the Deacon lead to the Xeno

*Does the Hammerpedes

*Or could something that is on Paradise or Happens there show us...

I think we are going to be left every open ended clues to squeeze these possible answers to a..

I think there would be a line between those were we can not rule out either... and so are left pondering... OK which is it.

And then Fan Reaction could determine which of these routes they go for in future movies.

interesting...but I think, from listening to ridley interviews and comments. ridley has regretted the pathe the franchise took and he has come to tell the story and answer the questions he himself has asked. who r the space jockeys?what happened to the pilot in alien?who created the xeno or is it natural? I think when he decided a long time ago to return and tell his story and he has a set path hes going down. hes had years to think about how he would have taken the franchise forward. im sure tho at the end of covenant we will be left with some questions answered but many unanswered and some fresh ones which will keep us wanting more but I believe the story ridley wants to tell is too big for just 1 or 2 movies, he has a lot to different angles to cover

Wayne Haag had mentioned Rildley had the vision of what he wanted to tell prior to Prometheus... it would appear the Humanoid Engineers are not a late concept...

I think maybe he was disappointed how Prometheus turned out as far as the look and maybe some of the connections they was making...

Whatever vision as far as how the Space Jockey was seen as to how we got in Prometheus, that Ridley had.. i think he could go back to his ideas before... maybe make it bit Alien.

But i still think the SJ is going to be Humanoid in a Space Suit... maybe even still looking like the Engineers.
