Ranking The Alien films from best to worst

About Requiem,your definitely not missing anything lol.It can be good for a laugh but that's about it.There's a certain irony to watching it,i watched it about a month ago and had a good time ripping on it.It's pretty stupid lol.If you scroll through this list you'll see it has pretty much no fans.

@ninXeno426  Yeah I noticed that, haha. Yeah my brother had told me when it had come out how horrible it was. I've never been able to get myself to watch it, maybe one day like you said I will watch it just to have a good laugh.

I skipped it in theaters because i didn't like the first one that much.When you know it's bad then you can certainly have fun with it because there are zero expectations of quality.If you've seen Resident Evil Apocalypse,then you'll know what to expect.The plot is almost the same,they just replaced zombies and the Nemesis with Aliens and predator.

@ninXeno426  Never watched any of the Resident Evil movies but the first one, those never appealed to me. But yeah you can just tell a movie is gonna be bad sometimes, haha. I hear ya there.

They unfortunately share some of the same "talent."The guy who did the first AVP wrote and directed most of those movies.

Honestly feel like Prometheus was misunderstood similar to Alien:isolation... We did not see any xeno action on prometheus and yes it has many flawa but i feel we are a bit harsh on it, only really got it after a few screenings, with isolation i feel ppl were expecting something like colonial marines which was garbage, just violence, no thought or strategy to it so when pople got isolation and the xeno was in yo face and showcasing why its called "the perfect organisim" people did't like this, oh yes and Requiem was just Balls hy, Trash

I like the inclusion of Isolation.Where is Resurrection if you don't mind my asking?

It feels weird putting the Predator movies in the list, since I don't usually do haha. It was funny, I used to like Predator 2 as much as, if not more than, Predator. That was until this past Sunday when I rewatched it for the first time in a while and I just found it to be really sloppy and cheesy. There is some cheese in Predator, but it works better. 

Other note: A:R becomes more likeable the longer I exist, oddly enough

Isolation is a tough one since it was more of an active experience true to Alien than a passive movie watching one. Since it is out there on the thread, I would rank it above Alien for the more active engagenent. Here comes the hate.

To me deviant is over the top Giger (lots of stuff out there) or at least like QES. I still think your pic is cool though- just used to seeing the AC poster pic.

I decided to change it because i think some one else is using the same pic as me.This should avoid some confusion.Next will be some classic Giger or a facehugger.Although my brother said stick with the Covenant poster because i had it first lol.I should also say i can't even remember who had the Covenant poster any way lol.

Fishtoes- give it a shot and judge for yourself. Grab some snacks and beverage and have fun- and brace for a couple very disturbing scenes.

I love Alien Resurrection.I'll admit i have a bit of a soft spot for it because i was 7 years old when it came out and was lucky enough to see it.My good friend dk has a thread on why Alien Resurrection is underrated.Check it out.I don't think there are too many spoilers in there.

@dk LOL  same here hy, it made me afraid of the Xeno again

1, without a doubt Alien.. still, in my humble opinion, the scariest horror/sci film out there, Dalls in the tunnel and the tracker showing the Alien closing in still has me on the edge of my seat even after 100 plus views.

2, maybe its an age thing but as Ive gotten older I really appreciate Prometheus and the different angle that it offers to the saga. I agree with many others that it is a misunderstand film however I really do think it holds its own.

3, Aliens  Until very recently this was number 2. Still a classic and one that I can happily watch every other week.

4, Alien 3 Didn't really like the Xeno in this one however loved the setting and in retrospect, apart from Alien, I think this has the best acting

5 AVP   Im in the lesser community here but I really enjoyed this film and still do to this day, as discussed in previous forums there are quite a few similarities to Prometheus. Id say my main gripe is that it isn't scary enough.

6 AR  Really enjoyed the characterisations in this, CGI was a bit ropey in some places, especially the underwater scenes and as with AVP, not really scary but there are much worse films out there.

7 AVP Requiem.. still cant make any sense of this entry.. its a rather good comedy however it did hurt my eyes watching as I had to squint to make most of the film out.
