What. This is ligit Giger art. The One who inspired this genre- a true ground breaker........and this image is mellow compared to his other "land scapes." If I am banned, I am proud to be so for displaying the late great Giger art instead of trolling and telling people how much they suck and how dumb they are.

Back to the OP- it might not be humorous, but it seems a feasible marketing idea and likely one that has been practiced pre market at various levels of success by young ones and shop vacs.

My first inclination would be to do something ala the gag they played based off "The Ring" Movie (Girl actually coming out the real TV at an Electronics Big Box store).

...Basically have an animatronic alien running roughshod at the local mall on a Saturday.  That level of pandemonium would probably be cool...until the hooligans starting pulling out their pistols. Then it would really suck--With all the forthcoming lawsuits, we'd never get to see the movie.
