They are from neca,they go for about twenty dollars.I haven't gotten it yet,but they are awesome!

It's part of a sci fi dinner,it's themes range from Star Trek,Fire Fly/Serenity,and Soylent Green.

A lady I used to work with made bread rolls with the tops cut across, so the bake up and look like facehugger eggs.

I think she got the idea from pinterest.

I saw remember seeing another that had an adult xeno head made out of eggplant.  Unfortunately I can't find it right now.

Interesting! I imagine sci fi gatherings of that magnitude can get elaborate and expensive- kudos if you can do it too!

The pretzel bread eggs look paractical and pretty darn cool and open to further development based on who does it!

Might sound complicated a bit, but if you have large pickling jars,maybe make a chestburster or facehugger out of fruit and suspend it in clear (but flavored) gelatin.

It might look like a specimen jar?

I personally really dig the crab and smoked clams idea DK listed above.

It is all about fun and doing as cheaply and easily as possible among friends.  Pickling/fermenting is a great idea, is pretty cheap and easy.

dont forget half eaten donuts and a cup of coffee on every table and desk around
