Your initial viewing chronology of 1-4

My first viewing was in the order. I jumped into alien after I finished other slasher movies and those usually suffer if you watch them out of order so made sure to catch the alien series the order it was released.

In chronological order as well.Maybe i saw Aliens first.I haven't read any comics or novelizations of the films

Prometheus

I read all of the books AFTER the movie came out. I've only recently read Sea of Sorrow/River of Pain, and Out of the Shadows, but found them to be FANTASTIC continuations of the Alien mythos. HIGHLY recommend. I'm not a comic book fan, so the Prometheus: fire and stone or whatever its called, while entertaining, did not do much for me.
