MemberFacehuggerMar-09-2017 4:11 AMHi, I joined this site yesterday and I was a regular lurker on here for a few years, I remember there was a fan fic version of Paradise with Shaw and David traveling to Paradise and finding out God was a bio mechanical being that had a woman's face on it, I think the post is gone now, but I have always been interested in Alien since a young age, I saw Prometheus when it came out and I think it was a good way to jump in to the backstory of the Alien Universe. Look forward to talking about the Alien universe since it's my current obsession!

MemberOvomorphMar-09-2017 6:20 PMHello to all! New member as well but have been using this site since Prometheus. I adore this franchise and am eager to see how it continues to evolve. I contributed my first post today regarding the facehugger scene in trailer 1. I hope this was actually a good "catch" and I'm not rehashing an old topic.
Face-hugs,

MemberOvomorphMar-10-2017 8:41 PMUm. Covenant will blow our effing minds. Alien meets aliens with a dash of prometheus ambiguity. Epic. Absolute Jumpstart, cathartic alien launchpad we've been waiting for

MemberOvomorphMar-11-2017 2:21 AMI've just joined in the last half hour :-)
Have been a lurker for almost a year but it was time to pull the trigger and sign up.
My first experience with Alien was 'Aliens' - my parents were watching it and I was in bed. I was I think four or five but was always quite a curious kid. I remember opening the door the slightest bit, just so I could see what was happening, and all I saw was this crazy lady in this giant yellow robot fighting a big black dragon. Safe to say it scared the shit out of me..
Throughout my early teenage years I'd seen bits and pieces of each movie but Alien: Resurrection was the only one I'd seen properly. It was my favourite movie of all time, especially the part where the Xeno's kill their mate to fall through the floor. That was such a "Whoaa!" moment for a 14 year old haha.
I'd always been a huge Star Wars & Jurassic Park fan and loved the Xenomoroph but for some reason it wasn't till I was about 22 or 23 that I decided to purchase and then watch all four Alien movies in succession. Well, something weird happened... The first was I became instantly hooked on the lore. The second was the firm realisation that Resurrection was actually a crock of shit. Almost a comedy.. Haha.
Anyway so a few years later, Prometheus comes out, I fall in love with it and the rest is history!
Thank you so much for the warm welcome dk :)

MemberFacehuggerMar-11-2017 9:54 AMWelcome M577!
Alien Resurrection was the first one I had seen at it's entirety as well (and the start of my own obsession with the franchise).

MemberFacehuggerMar-11-2017 10:54 AMHi everyone! I have been lurking around here fore some while...
I am a huge Alienfan since I saw the first film back in 1981. I remember in -79 when my older brother and his friends came home from the cinema and they could not talk about anything else than the Alien "monster". That year my brother gave me "Alien-the illustrated story" for Christmas. I was hooked. When I finaly got to see the film two years later I could refrase every line in the film... Ever since I have regarded Alien the best film ever. It is allmost timeless and sooo well made.

MemberOvomorphMar-11-2017 11:12 AMHi Guys ,
I've been lurking here from last year and only signed up yesterday.
I absolutely love this site with a microscope type analysis of each new piece of material released.
I love all the alien movies , and love the way Scott is handling the prequels as an indirect approach.
The engineers and their story is what really fascinates me and I hope that Scott gives us more insite.
Some of you guys are hilarious with the analysis, after all this is all fiction, but it's what makes this site the best.
I can't wait until the movie comes.
Btw this site is taking up too much of my time...lol

MemberOvomorphMar-11-2017 11:57 PMWelcome M577! And everyone else of course!
Kinda funny to hear some people's first experience was Resurrection, lol, though to be fair it was my first Alien experience in the theater, I did see the first 3 at home, when I was younger, and they were the scariest and most impactful movies on me at the time, no doubt. I am also a Star Wars fan but Alien is the perfect blend of horror, action, and sci-fi and thus in a league of its own.

AdminEngineerMar-12-2017 12:01 PMSurprising how many lurkers we have who have only now signed up haha, welcome to the community regardless!
Aliens was technically my first encounter with the franchise, but I quickly became drawn to the original more so. Resurrection was the fourth one I saw in the series, thankfully.

MemberFacehuggerMar-14-2017 8:42 PMHello. I've been spying on this site since Promethues, but I only joined about a week or so ago, and started posting today. I work a lot, so I must warn everyone that I probably won't be the best at quick replies or attentive posting, but nonetheless I'm excited to have the opportunity to discuss these films I love so much.
