But seriously in Alien we was shown as far as the Draft the Chest Buster consumed Food... so indeed we can assume maybe they do have to gain some nutrients from eating something

As far as if a Spore can infect a Xenomorph type Organism we see in Alien Covenant... thats a interesting idea, its one thats open for debate and it would be interesting to see what the result would be.

We cant say if it would or would not have no effect, so its interesting to debate it

Well, I have gathered that there may be a fight between a protomorph and a neomorph, and I wondered if that was because they both are simply violent/hungry/wanting to reproduce or is there a hatred driven by what the protomorph (assumed intellectual) has witnessed as a result of the spores on its brethren (or food or surrogate)?  Could be nothing, could be an animalistic confrontation...time will tell.
