It is a beaked creature. Prometheus being torn opened according to the mythos. How many times do we see this in prometheus?

The mural, shaw having her abdomen cut open, the engineer having that deacon rip his abdomen open. All because the stole the fire (black substance). Heck even Vickers uses fire to kill the transforming holloway. Im pretty sure there is more that im missing.
