At last, I think I have figured out who the mysterious creature in the Prometheus Mural really is.

The mural, shaw having her abdomen cut open, the engineer having that deacon rip his abdomen open. All because the stole the fire (black substance). Heck even Vickers uses fire to kill the transforming holloway. Im pretty sure there is more that im missing.
