MemberOvomorphMar-23-2017 7:56 PMApparently some concept work was spotted on the set of A:C showing Shaw's character with tubes coming out of her head. People seem to really like the mutated Shaw theory, but I wonder if it's just her in cryosleep. Check out the Engineer cryochamber:
The thing is, David had a massive crush on Shaw throughout Prometheus, stalking her and menacing her with his curiosities about her life. He even relieved her of her deadbeat boyfriend! It would seem out of character for him to cause her this kind of suffering given his infatuation with her.
What I'm thinking is that Shaw and David show up to find everyone already dead, and Shaw has to barricade herself into her chambers protect herself from the elements (i.e., black goo ecosystem, which either predates them or arrived with them). Eventually she runs out of resources or gets bored and finally decides to ask David to just put her into crysleep and wake her up when he has some answers for her. With her safe in hypersleep, David has as much free time to futz around with the black goo as he wants, even enough to send a distress signal to lure in some test subjects. Shaw would be none the wiser, and David can keep her asleep basically forever and have her all to himself. To me, that seems more like the David we know from Prometheus.
Thoughts?

MemberTrilobiteMar-23-2017 9:08 PMThat is interesting and it seems it might go in the Giger direction. However, it was stated that it could be misdirection since the art work was plainly displayed. Personally I hope it goes in that direction. Thank you for the link.
