What if Shaw was doomed without David

I  think it depends on how i interpret the OT...

We cant be sure if any residue from the Black Goo infection passed on from Holloway would be in Shaw and what amount and what this could cause.  I would assume its not enough to have a major effect.

I would say without David's Help as far as the Med Bay, eventually Shaw would have to report to the Medical Team with Chronic Pain in her Tummy, and maybe even feeling something moving around so its likely she would have been Scanned but at a latter time.

A lot depends on the Gestation Period, and i would assume a few hours after she saw Holloway get Toasted by Vickers, she would have noticed something was up.

And a number of hours after this point she would no doubt have given Birth to the Trilobite by Natural Means or Belly Burster.

As for Shaws fate, here are a few things to mention.

*Fassbender said David was fond of Shaw and they did have a Marriage like Relationship.... But something must have changed.

*Ridley Scott said Shaw is not in the movie much, but she played a big part in what David had done latter.  This is really open for Debate...

Is this regarding the Experiments?

Is this regarding what happened to those inhabitants of Paradise or what ever this Planet is?

Is this regarding something else that happens latter on?

The Reports from some Press on Set in Summer 2016 had claimed.

*There was a area/room where Shaw was trying to evade/hide away from David.

*There was a Concept Work on the Wall of Shaw being connected to a Machine that was very Bio-Mechanical looking piece of work like HR Gigers works.

So it will be interesting to see what becomes of Shaw, i think to some degree Her Body/Eggs (even Children) are required for David as a Basis for his Creations and Experiments.

Would be crazy if shaw was pregnate with multiple babies that she had over a period of time. All which David experimented on.
